Detailed Instructions If Needed
FUD stands for:
FEAR
UNCERTAINTY
DOUBT
about either the training experience, or more important, applying the skills to real life after the session.
At the start of the seminar, ask each person to "privately" write down one or more fears, uncertainties and doubts about either the training session to come, or the subject matter.
You can have a few people or as many as is practical share a few of their FUDS.
At the end of the seminar, ask the group for volunteers to talk about how their FUD's have changed. Hopefully they will show less discomfort related to what they identified.
The results will also provide the trainer with valuable feedback to improve the next offering,
